The following club committee positions have been confirmed:

The Board congratulates all concerned and asks that members give due respect and cooperation to these committee members.

Cancer Council morning tea a great success
This year's Cancer Council morning tea was another successful and rewarding day. 135 people attended this year and raised $4,272. A special thank you to the ladies and gentlemen for their participation in various roles and to all the sponsors.
ANZ Home Loan Introducer Program reintroduced
Bowls WA and the ANZ Bank are again offering clubs the opportunity to earn substantial funds through the ANZ Home Loan Introducer Program.

Modified KBC by-law 32.0 pet policy
32.0 PETS ON CLUB PREMISES
(i) Members and members guests are not to bring pets onto club premises at any time.
(ii) GUIDE DOGS are not considered pets and are welcome onto the club and into the clubhouse.

Pennant selectors meeting 8 May 2018
An informal meeting has been called for next Tuesday 8th May at 5 pm, to allow members the chance to ask the candidates their aims and ambitions for next season and to air any concerns they may have. We would like to see as many pennant playing members as possible attend. The nomination sheet will remain on the board until this time.

2018 Multi-Disability Lawn Bowls National Championship – shirt sizes
Would all members who have volunteered to assist and have placed their names on the sheet for the National All-Abilities championships later this month, please contact Pam Heron to provide sizes for your official shirts by Monday 7th May.
Reminder about cleaning up after pennants
It is a requirement when playing pennants at home that a player from each rink wash and dry the sandwich containers. Do NOT leave the club until this is done.
Gotta Love the Bowlo campaign
BowlsWA has launched of a statewide marketing campaign for Western Australian Bowling Clubs called Gotta Love the Bowlo.
The campaign is built around a need to attract new people into Bowling Clubs in WA and will see an unprecedented committment by the Board of Bowls WA towards the future of the sport.
The campaign is multi-facetted with the key message being Bowling Clubs are a fun place to be, and whilst every club might be a little different every club has reasons to be loved. The campaign welcomes people to find their nearest club and find out why you have just Gotta Love the Bowlo.

Access to Kardinya Bowling Club governance documents
You can use the "Members" option on the website to access various documents such as the club By-laws; the Rules of Association; and the Pennant Guidelines and Responsibilities. Access to pennant teams and the telephone numbers of all members is also available.
No smoking in the new barbecue area
Because the new barbeque area is a food preparation and eating area, the Board has made the decision that the entire paved area is a NON-SMOKING area. For the comfort of fellow members we would ask all members to observe this policy.
